RANDOM ACTS OF LIGHTNESS

This is the eye that tries to “look and let the light find me”… that seeks to “paint” directly with light… abstracting reality… uncovering what is there behind the literal scene… sometimes, these chance encounters have an energy, a force… sometimes, they have a quieter motion… but, they are never “still”… they are always challenging the eye to see a simple scene or object – a ceiling, people on a subway, the moonlight, a raindrop – in unexpected, and often multiple, ways.
